Cultural Practices:
The daffodils can stay in the ground year after year. Their bulbs are toxic and generally not attacked by rodents or insect. The leaves on many varieties stay green throughout the summer even in Phoenix. Plant the bulbs in early fall, as soon as you find them at the store. Plant them 2 inches deep (5 cm), 6 inches apart (15 cm). They will do better with mulch and leaf mold.

Blooming Habits:
The flowers are extremely good cut flowers.
