Synonym: Rosmarinus prostratus
Rosemary 'Prostratus' is a cultivar of the commonly available rosemary. It is much lower and can be used as a ground cover, although it won't take traffic. It is also slightly less frost resistant than its normal sized counterpart.
The rosemary is used abundantly in Italian cooking. Its flavor complements well pork and ham. Tea, made with its leaves, is supposed to improve the digestion.
